Having the certification will work miracles for your career, but the certification exams are expensive, difficult to prepare for, and only offered a few times throughout the year. Failing means wasting at least $500 in exam registration fees, not to mention the opportunity cost of being without the certification. These are exams you want to pass on the first try.

Vast Talent guarantees that if you purchase and use our finance certification courses, you will pass the finance certification exam, or we will gladly refund your purchase price.   

This guarantee is subject to the following conditions: 

1. Guarantee applies only to the licensed registered user. The name registered with Vast Talent must match the name of the exam candidate exactly.
2. This guarantee applies only to the English language version of the certification courses and certification exams. 
3. This guarantee applies only to candidates who purchased the certification course, and not just the diagnostic exams.
4. You must successfully complete the entire certification course prior to taking your exam. For each course, you must have completed each module in full, and spent the following amount of time studying the certification course (your time is tracked and recorded in our online platform):
   • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Level 1: 250 hours
   • Professional Risk Manager (PRM): 150 hours
   • Associate Professional Risk Manager (APRM): 60 hours
   • Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Part 1: 75 hours
   • Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Part 2: 90 hours
5. Successful completion includes passing all course practice exams with a score of at least 95% correct. Your scores are tracked, recorded, and available for review in our on-line learning center. 
6. You must sit for the exam within 12 months of your purchase.
7. You must fail the exam to qualify for a refund of your purchase price. Candidates are usually notified of pass/fail status within 45 days of sitting the exam. You must notify Vast Talent of your exam failure within 75 days of sitting the exam. Notification must include a copy of the relevant exam status notification, a copy of your original purchase receipt/invoice, and your request for a refund. You can send this information to Vast Talent via e-mail or post.
8. Once Vast Talent receives your information, checks your exam failure notification with the relevant certification authority, and verifies compliance with all guarantee requirements above, we will issue a refund of the original purchase price to the credit card that was used for the original purchase.
9. This guarantee does not include any reimbursement of exam fees you may pay, or have paid, to the exam center, certification authority (e.g. GARP, PRMIA or the CFA Institute) or payments to any other training provider.
10. Upon refunding the purchase price to you, your subscription to Vast Talent's finance certification course will terminate.
11. This guarantee only applies to courses purchased after 22 April 2010.
