The ITIL Bridge Foundations course is intended for students who hold the ITIL 2.0 certification and wish to achieve a fundamental knowledge of the IT Infrastructure Library version 3.0 (ITIL 3.0) terminology, structure, and basic principles, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the core principles of ITIL 3.0 practices for IT Service Management. It will help prepare those students who hold the ITIL Version 2 Foundation Certificate to take the ITIL v2/v3 Bridge exam so that they can update to the ITIL Version 3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
